TERMS OF ENROLLMENT & SERVICE AGREEMENT You must read and agree to our Studio Policies before continuing on to the Payment page . 2) Session Location: The student has the option to either study In-Studio location in Frisco TX, or the student may take internet sessions using SKYPE. When scheduling a session, specify a location choice.
3) Payments, Rates & Fees: All session times and services listed on the Payment page are reserved and paid for in advance. Payment for all sessions, services and session packages are pre-paid and must be paid in full within 24-48 hours of scheduling a session time slot. Session times are not guaranteed or will not be added to the calendar until payment for the next session or sessions are received. Payment for subsequent sessions or session packages must also be paid in full within 24-48 hours of scheduling the next session.
4) Cancellation Policy: Any cancellation notice must be given at least 24 hours in advance . Notice of cancellation given inside of 24 hours is unacceptable and will be considered a missed session. Missed sessions are charged the full amount for the time the student is booked. The instructor charges the entire amount paid for each session missed if there is no call or voice mail giving at least 24 hour notice because the instructor keeps the time slot open for the student. The instructor can reschedule at another time if the student follows the proper cancellation procedure, but if a session is not canceled with at least 24 hour notification, there is no make-up session .
5) How to cancel/reschedule a session (accepted methods of notification): Notice of a cancellation may be done by: Calling the vocal instructor at 972-836-9926 and leaving a voice mail is an acceptable form of notification. To cancel, the student must call and either speak to Nazia or leave a clear message with a contact number and state the time and date of the call . The student will receive a confirmation call or email regarding the canceled session. Other methods of cancellation notification such as email and text messages are unacceptable and not considered proper notification. Using such methods may result in being charged for the session.
6) Unforeseen circumstances/emergencies: If a student, because of unforeseen and/or unavoidable circumstances must give less than 24 hours notice of a cancellation, the student must call the instructor personally by phone as soon as possible. These instances will be weighed on a case by case basis. Legitimate reasons for last minute cancellations (as deemed by the instructor) may have any charges waved. A student forgetting to show up at a scheduled time will result in being charged for the session. A phone call to the instructor is the only acceptable method of notification for cancellations less than 24 hours from session time.
7) Sessions canceled or rescheduled by the instructor: Because the instructor is a working professional performer, the instructor may for any reason need to cancel a scheduled session. The instructor reserves the right to cancel a session at any time and will provide a make-up session. If there is a need to cancel, the instructor will make every attempt to reschedule the session in a timely manor, at a time convenient for the student (schedule permitting).
8) Refunds: There are no refunds for purchased services or services rendered, and no refunds for sessions missed or canceled by the student. All sessions dictated by the terms of the contract are charged and will not be refunded. Student/Legal Guardian is responsible for payment of all sessions.
9) Discontinuing a Session Package: Before considering to discontinue a pre-paid session package, remember that there are many other concepts to learn about performance, voice, and/or music.
10) Sessions and Pre-Paid Session Packages (5 Hourly Sessions & 5 30-Minute Sessions): Pre-Paid 5 Hourly or 5 30-Minute Session Packages expire within 60 days from the date of purchase. Individual Sessions are intended on a pay as you go basis. Instructor keeps a log and expects the student to keep a log of his or her scheduled session times to keep track of attended, missed or canceled sessions.
1 1) Promotions and Student Referrals: The instructor reserves the right to begin or end promotions and/or referral policies at any time. All Referral Discounts must be approved by the instructor prior to purchase on the Payment page. Contact instructor for details.
12) Session Times: Start times are strictly enforced. The student must be on time for his/her session. Session begins promptly at the scheduled time whether the student has arrived or not. The student is still required to pay for the full length of time booked even if he/she is significantly late. The time scheduled has been reserved for the student’s session, therefore time missed because of a late start cannot be pro-rated, rescheduled or added to another session. Sessions will start & end on time. Students coming to the studio should arrive no earlier than 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time . The instructor cannot accommodate for those who arrive before 5 minutes of their scheduled session. This is to ensure minimal interruption with other client sessions in progress before student's scheduled session.
1 3) Injuries: The instructor and owners of the studio property located in Frisco, TX are not in any way held responsible for student injuries that occur on the property either inside, outside, or around the premises of the studio.14) Tardiness: As a courtesy, the student should call if he/she is running late. The vocal instructor will wait for a scheduled student at least 15 minutes from the time a session is scheduled to begin. The session will still end at the scheduled time. If no call is received to notify tardiness, the instructor reserves the right not to teach the student and is not obligated to teach once 15 minutes from the scheduled session start time has passed.
15) Guest Policy: It is important that the student and vocal instructor work efficiently during sessions. Guests, Parents, Legal Guardians, and Caregivers are welcome to sit in the studio for ONLY the first few minutes of the initial session if the student is nervous. It is important for younger students to gain confidence to work with the instructor one-on-one. To maximize time efficiency and minimize distractions to the student, guests are not encouraged to be present in the sessions.
16) Future Agreements, Policies, and Contracts: The instructor reserves the right to change or amend future contracts, agreements, and policies at any time. Changed or amended contracts, agreements, and policies override that of any previous agreement.
